Dave Nicol Fiddle/Pipes
Dave hails from Wick in the far north of Scotland. His upbringing was steeped in traditional music living for many years opposite legendary dance band leader Addie Harper. For 3 years he was fiddler in residence at the prestigious Ackergill Tower retreat in Caithness – receiving critical acclaim from the Daily Telegraph for his playing. He regards fiddle virtuoso Gordon Gunn as his greatest influence, under whom he studied for 2 years. Dave brings the driving highland style to the Bahookie sound.
