We just want to say a huge thanks for playing at our wedding on 12th March 2011 at Dalmahoy.  We are just back after 3 weeks on honeymoon and all anyone is talking about other than the beautiful bride (of course) is the band!!!

We had really high expectations since seeing your performance at a wedding a couple of years ago and we were certainly not disappointed.  Jen and I knew what was coming – but to see my 80 year old uncle dance to the Prodigy is something I’ll never forget.  The floor was jam-packed for the entire night – enough said!

Thanks also to Ross (bass guitar) who made my 8 year old nephew’s year when he allowed him to help strum a few chords during your live set.  It’s an experience he will never forget and is just one example of how you interacted with our guests and helped everyone dance their pants off.

We found you to be professional, friendly and a good laugh too. We will recommend you to all of our friends for weddings and corporate gigs, the only down side was that we didn’t get to speak to all of our guests because we were never off of the dance floor!

Morning Scott,

Just a thank you for the gig you guys performed at
Alan and Vicky’s wedding, on December 27th 2010, and the impromptu
gig in room 15 at the end of the night!!!

I will certainly be recommending Bahookie to people as
a band for future weddings etc, and also to people within the Oil Industry who
are looking for that type of band for special occasions.

Please pass on a huge thanks to the band. There is no doubt that bahookie helped to make our weekend in Alesund a huge success. Your infectious style brought together two hundred people from three different nationalities and made them all scottish for the night. We have had feedback from Portosalvo Ltd and clients who have commented that it was probably the most memorable christening they have been to. Which is saying a lot when they are mostly from shipping backgrounds.

I’ve been meaning to email since our wedding on the 8th August at Burnhouse Manor. We want to say a massive ‘thank you’ to the band!

We had an absolutely amazing night and the atmosphere was electric thanks to you guys!

Everyone has commented to us on how amazing you were and we loved the fact that the dance floor was never empty!

A few people weren’t all that impressed when we told them that we were having a ceilidh band but now they’ve been converted!

Also a big thank you for encouraging me to try the strip the willow in my dress!!! So glad I did it!

our wedding Ceilidh. The guys were absolutely fantastic, and really made the

Having seen the band again I've gotta say I'm a big fan of the stuff you guys

do. I love the way you occasionally merge from Ceilidh songs into some

contemporary pop tune, and then back into the Ceilidh song. The energy on the

merge-back is fantastic. And I could sit and listen to the drums all night - I

used to play the drums a bit (I'm very useless) - but I love all the technical

stuff. Bloody brilliant.

Anyway, just wanted to say thanks. Please forward onto the guys in the band if

you could.

Hi Scott,Steph and myself just want to pass on our thanks to you and the rest of the band for playing at our wedding.Since the wedding all we keep hearing from our friends and relatives is how much they enjoyed the celebrations and how good you guys, the band were. Some of the guests have mentioned were particularly impressed with the way you returned after the break, seamlessly joining into and playing along with the track playing at the time.
